Ever since I was young, architecture was always something that inspired me. From the trips with my mom around the block to look at the houses to just looking at the pictures in books and magazines of buildings, I knew it was something that I could appreciate and respect.
Now I am living that dream, with an associate degree in architecture from Northampton Community College, and four years left at Drexel I am slowly realizing that dream is coming true.
“Do what you love”, famous words from the founder of Gap, Don Fisher. Those words ring true for me today, as I truly am doing what I love which reflects in my designs.
When I sit down to design a house or building I usually already have a slight idea in my head, whether it was an idea that came to me from looking at a magazine or seeing a piece of architecture in person, or looking at nature, the inspiration comes from something.
With millions of pieces of work out there, you can’t invent the wheel anymore but you can morph that wheel into something else.
As a student of architecture what better time to morph that wheel than now.
Architecture is so inspiring that it can’t be held to just one idea, that’s why when I design a building, house or structure; I go through miles and miles of trace until I am satisfied with the result exploring all styles out there in the world. The hand is the best tool an architect possesses, I intend to keep it out of the tool box.
I'm currently enrolled at Drexel University as an Architecture Major. I'm very intuitive with an eager eye for learning and developing skills under others.
Please don't hesitate to send me an email as I would love to hear from you. I'm currently looking for an entry level position with an Architecture firm.
